An Angel in Disguise.
Today's inspiring story took place in 2017, yet is as timely now, as when it happened.
At Eppley Airport in Omaha, Nebraska, a man holding his 2-year-old daughter in his arms arrived to board his flight, assuming his toddler had a free seat.
"She just turned two," he said in answering the agent's question about his daughter's age.
Having booked his ticket prior to her birthday, his daughter was now over the free ticket age limit by two months.
Frantic, the man left the counter to try to borrow the money in time to still catch their flight.
And then something amazing happened:
(Story continues from "Read More")
The woman next in line witnessed what had transpired, and although a stranger to this man, told the agent she would pay for his little girl's ticket.
"You know how much this ticket costs, right?" the surprised agent replied.
"$700 something," guessed the stranger.
"$749," answered the agent.
Without hesitation, the woman used her credit card and paid for the ticket.
The agent called the father back to the ticket counter, and told him what happened, assuring him, he and his little girl could now board the plane.
Stunned, and deeply grateful, the father hugged this woman and asked for her name so he could repay her. "Don't worry about it," she gently replied. She then smiled and walked away.
This inspiring story quickly went viral after another passenger, Kevin Leslie, who witnessed what happened, posted it on social media, calling her an "angel in disguise."
So, who was this angel?
Although wanting no credit, within hours of her story going viral, people identified her as Debbie Bolton, Co-Founder of cleaning products company, Norwex.
