109-year-old Arthur Green makes history throwing the Baltimore Orioles ceremonial first pitch.

At 109, he is the oldest person ever to throw a ceremonial first pitch in Major League Baseball.

Before Arthur, the record belonged to 108-year-old Evelyn Jones, when she threw the ceremonial first pitch for the Seattle Mariners in 2015.

Arthur, a military veteran of both World War ll and the Korean War, has been a devoted Orioles fan since the team's founding in 1954.

Courtesy of his beloved Orioles, Arthur was escorted onto the field by his daughter, Myra Green, who's distinguished 40+ year career as an ABC News producer stood as a legacy of its own.

Cheered by thousands of people, Arthur threw the ceremonial first pitch, which you can watch on this 40-second video.
