Bitty & Beau's Coffee: Providing jobs and joy for disabled people
Amy and Ben Wright of Wilmington, North Carolina have four children. Their youngest two, Bitty and Beau, have Down syndrome.
To be physically or intellectually limited often means no job, no community involvement and a life with little sense of purpose or joy.
To overcome this terrible stigmatized result for their two children, and the children of others, Amy and Ben created a unique coffee shop.

Bitty & Beau's Coffee successfully employs people with Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Autism and other limitations.
Started in January of 2016, this coffee shop has attracted so many customers, that aside from its two managers, it now has nearly 40-physically or intellectually limited employees.
"If you just give them a chance, they can do anything you ask them to do," said Amy, as you will see in this heartwarming 2-minute, 33-second video: http://www.cnn.com/videos/us/2017/06/22/cnn-heroes-wright-mixed.cnn
