Disfigured dog melts many hearts.
6-year-old Brodie lives in a loving home with photographer, Amanda Richter on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada and he is one very happy dog.
And so popular, that on Instagram and TikTok, he has about 1.5 million followers who enjoy his doggy antics.
But life was not always so kind to Brodie.

He was born at Old MacDonald Kennels to a 10-month-old stray mother, little more than a puppy herself.
She bit him on the head causing his disfigurement, partially blinded him in one eye, while leaving him with a slightly stiff jaw.
The kennel knew it would take a special person to adopt Brodie, so to introduce him to the public, they began posting adorable puppy pictures of him on their Facebook page.
"The moment I saw his picture on Facebook, I fell in love with his face ..., Amanda told People magazine. "It's clearly hard not to because the whole world seems to have fallen in love with it."
"I was like, 'I need to go meet this dog,' and I went and met Brodie and it was love at first sight." Amanda brought him home that day.
Meanwhile, Brodie's fans on the shelter's Facebook page asked Amanda to keep posting updates and photos, and she does.
And then:
In 2022, one of Brodie's followers messaged Amanda about a Texas dog disfigured in a prior home and up for adoption.
Amanda fell in love with this dog, 4-year-old Raven, and adopted her as well.
"They complete each other," Amanda said. "They were definitely meant to be together. They're like yin and yang."
And now they are in one happy family.
