Located on a 40-acre site in Star Prairie, Wisconsin about 200 dogs and cats, a tortoise named Goliath and two cockatoos, Penelope and Candy, have a permanent home.
But it’s not enough to rescue loving dogs and cats, they need to socialize, as they give their love and receive love in return.
In a brief video, you will see some of these pets playing with children at a Harriet Tubman Center, a place where kids try to overcome the impact of domestic abuse and violence.
