Officer Percy, an unusual police officer.
In Yuba City, a California community of 70,000 people 40 miles north of Sacramento, there is a very popular but unofficial police officer named Percy.
Percy is a brown and white cute-as-can-be bunny, who in his little blue "Police K9" vest is ready to bring joy to everyone around him.
How did he get into police work?

On October 21, 2022 Officer Ashley Carson, on patrol, spotted this little rabbit-cutie meandering down the middle of Percy Avenue, the street for which he would later be named.
While rescuing him, she observed how warm and friendly he was.
Officer Carson took him to animal control, and no-one claimed him. He was alone in the world, but not for long.
A member of the Yuba City police force adopted him, and shortly afterward, Percy became a new unofficial member of the force.
Percy is now what the Yuba City police call a "wellness officer," there to cuddle with any officer needing a stress break while in the station.
He is also available to meet the public and bring happiness to all, as he opens his little heart and his playful nature.
