Strangers rescue a man from a fiery car crash.
In St. Paul, Minnesota 71-year-old Sam Orbovich was driving on Interstate 94 when he passed out and his SUV hit a light pole, spun and pinned him against a guardrail.
His SUV burst into flames. Unconscious, Sam was about to be burned to death, when a group of Good Samaritan motorists pulled over and began to rescue him.

Frantically working together, they unsuccessfully tried to pry the doors open, while one of them tried to break the window and another used a fire extinguisher to spray the SUV.

During this rescue Sam awoke, and realized he was trapped and encircled by the fierce flames, heat and smoke and began to panic.
The Good Samaritans assured him they would quickly get him out of the vehicle and they did.
Fortunately, Minnesota's Freeway Incident Response Safety Team (FIRST) arrived and shattered the SUV's window, and those Good Samaritans pulled Sam out, saving his life.

One Good Samaritan, Kadir Tolla had a dashboard camera which recorded the whole thing while he got out to help.
"I am alive today because several Good Samaritans and professional first responders saved my life," Sam said.
Said Tessa Sand, one of those Good Samaritan rescuers, "It is 100 percent a miracle."
