Stray dog chases bus, lands a loving home.

"He wanted on the bus badly," doggy day-care bus driver Tyson Cash told The Washington Post. "He was doing everything he could to get on with the other dogs."

Tyson and his wife Ashten run Keller Creek Boarding and Grooming in Franklin County, Georgia.

While picking up his doggy clients for their day care, Tyson picked up Lab Motley, whose buddy, another Lab tried to join him on the bus.

But not knowing if he was healthy, Tyson didn't let him on, rather than endanger the other dogs.

"I felt horrible about leaving him," said Tyson, who posted a video on Facebook of this Lab racing alongside his bus.

To find his owner, Ashten posted this Lab's photo on Facebook.

Sadie Peace, whose Lab Nellie is a Keller Creek client, saw this post and wanted to adopt him.

Tyson sent her to the woman feeding him, and who had named him Waylon.

Waylon looked at Sadie with his beautiful brown eyes. "He fell right in love with us as we did him," and she took him home.

But Waylon was sick.

"All his ribs were showing. He had fleas and ticks all over him. You could just tell he had not been taken care very well and had been roaming around for, I guess, weeks."

The Vet found Waylon had a chip identifying his owner. That owner agreed to let Sadie have him.

With medical care, and being loved and nurtured by Sadie, he became healthy and happy.

"He is a huge teddy bear," said Sadie. "He loves to cuddle. He wants belly rubs all the time, and he's super well-mannered."

And with Nellie, he now boards the bus to attend Keller Creek.
