The Puppy Bus, lovingly bringing dogs together for their daily walk.
It is early morning and the Puppy Bus is picking up its passengers at their homes. Horace happily leaps into the bus, and after a little sniffing goes to his assigned seat.
His safety harness is then secured, as are the safety harnesses of all the passengers.
On the way to the trail where the dogs will get their exercise, many of them off-leash, they receive food treats to encourage good behavior.
About 40 pups at various times of day ride the Puppy Bus to socialize with dogs and people, in a doggy celebration of life.
So, who created the Puppy Bus?
(Story continues from "Read More")
Based in Skagway, Alaska, it is part of Mo Mountain Mutts, created by the mom-and-pop duo, Mo and Lee Thompson, both dog lovers, and parents of a baby boy.

In 2014, the Thompsons came from Michigan to vacation in Alaska, and never left.
Mo became a restaurant bartender-hostess-food server, and her husband Lee a food server, and he worked in special education at a nearby school.
The business began when Mo and a co-worker began walking each other's dogs, and Mo picked up more dogs to walk.
In 2016, she left her job to walk even more dogs.
Meanwhile in 2021 because of covid, Lee lost his job, and began assisting Mo. Soon, the couple traded their van for a bus and Mo Mountain Mutts became as we know it today.
Turning to the internet, Mo and Lee began filming parts of their activities and they have become a social media sensation.
"It's the dream," Mo told The Washington Post. "I can't believe this is what we do for a living."
