USA Patriots: Amputee military veterans helping physically limited children
For children with physical limitations, such as missing limbs, it can be hard to participate in the joy of sports and other physical activities.
But there is a group of veterans who can easily relate to them and is happy to help:

That group is USA Patriots a softball team comprised of amputee veterans that plays able-bodied teams from across the nation.
Being a 501(c) 3 Charity, their purpose is to raise money for their Kids Camp, to conduct medical research and to acquire rehabilitation equipment.
Kids Camp:
For one week this summer in Virginia Beach, Virginia, 17-veterans mentored 17-children, each of those children being pleased to receive this attention and to learn life-lessons from them.
What those children received is priceless, learning ways to overcome their physical and emotional obstacles.
But the veterans were equally as fortunate for they saw the difference they could make in uplifting the lives of children who needed them.
